i spent the afternoon mixing up batches of perfume for these amber ampules i think i put 5 different perfumes in the mix, including the woodsman and the mercury, which i haven't released in atomized form yet i don't have the means to melt them, so i had to use hot glue to seal the ends, but i think it's kind of a great visceral experience to break one for application. thankfully

i made a new bag while i was still waking up this morning, and i'm pretty excited about it, or at least what it can lead to pardon the glowing iphone photos i've had these amazing scraps of buffalo fur i got from a remnants bin and i've been dying to make a bag with them i like that they are strangely reminiscent of human hair recycled silk pajama top liner!

the installation in tacoma got a write up in tacoma weekly, thanks dave!  “Study #213” is strung up with a web of tubs and silk string. In one window, rows of bladders dangle like rotten fruits that are encrusted with crystaline secretions. i just got accepted to be part of a billboard art exhibit! i love the idea of being public that way. i'm working on the images i'll use, and i have 10 minutes to talk to the people of reading, pa  (i liked that at least their city name implied they'd like to read something) i have a couple months to figure this puzzle out.
